Whistler real estate new listings price changes and sales July 15

Hi and hope this finds you off to a good start for the new week.  We are enjoying a beautiful day here in the village and this past weekend was busy with people from around the globe enjoying a weekend in Whistler - a round of golf in the morning, a little glacier hike or ski and an afternoon riding bikes to the beach are alll possible this time of year and cap it off with a concert at Olympic Plaza.

Those who follow Whistler real estate news you will have heard of the recent ten million dollar home purchase in Stone Bridge.  That's a high net individual who has futuer confidence in Whistler Valley real estate.  Coupled with the $8.8M sale in Alta Lake earlier this year, and it's fair to say the tide is turning in the desire to own Whistler.  There are a lot of offers being written right now with some listings going under multiple offer.  If homes are offering good value and/or desirable location and in good condition they are seeing good action.  Value, location and condition are always sought after.

We had 24 new listings, 10 price changes and 3 completed sales this past week in Whistler with a total of 531 active listings.  To view on nickswinburne.com,

Sales consisted of 2 condos between $60,000 and $375,000 and one townhome in Northern Lights selling for $1,360,000.

Tomorrow will see small Vancouver Symphony Orchestra quartets perform though the village and this weekend will see the VSO perform two evening concerts on Friday and Saturaday and a matinee on Sunday at Olympic Plaza.

Hope to see you there and if you have any questions or would like more information on selling or buying real estate, contact me.
