The workshops had been planned on Nov. 4 and 10, but they’re now planned on Nov. 10 and 24, officials said in a statement issued on Monday (Oct. 25).
The Nov. 10 workshop takes place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Pinnacle Hotel at 138 Victory Ship Way in North Vancouver. It’s intended as a way for those who own second homes in Whistler but live in the Lower Mainland to be part of the process of updating the resort community’s lead planning document.
The second workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 24, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Whistler Conference Centre. It will include opportunities to review Whistler’s current OCP, a brief review of the process of updating the OCP, small-table discussions of proposed changes to the document and an opportunity to sign up for in-depth working-group discussions on specific topics.
Whistler is halfway through its OCP update process, and community feedback continues to inform the development of Whistler’s OCP, officials said. For more information about the process, please visit the OCP update website, www.whistler2010.com
