Whistler real estate report for Nov. 24

Blog by Nick Swinburne | November 24th, 2011

Apologies for the tardiness of this week’s Tuesday market update report.  The report actually went missing on Monday of this week, with rumours that it was heading to Whistler Mountain.  After what has been 4 desperate days of me looking for the report on both Whistler and today, Blackcomb Mountain – I am pleased to say that the Tuesday report has been found under about 100cm of fresh snow that we have had in the past 3 days.  In all seriousness, this has been one of the best opening weeks I can ever remember here in the mountains – and it just continues to snow!  If you can, come on up!

We had 18 new listings, 15 Sales and 14 Price reductions in Whistler this past week.  This compares to last week’s numbers which saw 25 new listings, 14 sales and 15 price reductions.

Some good pricing in the Marquise at the moment and a price drop for a Bayshores Duplex caught my eye:

Over all the market is moving at a slower but steady pace and we continue to see good opportunities for Buyers at this time.

Please go ahead and click here to view the past week's new listings and price changes as reported by the Whistler Listing System.  If you would like the sales, please contact me directly.

If you have family or friends looking to buy or sell real estate in Whistler, please feel free to forward my information - I look forward to answering any questions regarding these or other Whistler real estate options.

All the best for the remaining week, – It’s snowing!!! And a Happy Thanksgiving to all our friends South of the Border.
