Sunshine! At last the clouds are getting smaller, the days longer and the valley is really warming up. There are some excellent shoulder season rates on at the moment and many restaurants here in town are offering 3 course dinner specials ( $19 – $49). Here is your weekly Whistler real estate update for June 8th.
This past week we had 31 New Listings, 11 Sales and 14 Price reductions compared to last week which saw 31 new listings, 15 sales and 14 price reductions. This is the third week of strong listing numbers, with sales continuing at a slightly reduced pace. Currently we have 629 listings of full ownership property in Whistler on whistlerlistings.com and includes phase II properties.
For full use properties; 8288 Valley Drive saw a decent price reduction this week and I still feel Gables #5 at $599k and #6 Snowberry – the 3 bedroom, 2 bath one floor unit for $649k no HST, are well valued.
A good new phase II offering is available in the Pan Pacific Lodge. Listed at $389k, this is a 7th floor, 554 sq ft 1 bedroom suite. Good revenue with the Pan Pacific Lodge and great location.
